Communications
Messaging Terms
These terms apply to transactional SMS, RCS where available, email, review requests, and other communications delivered through Nordax OS or on behalf of a tenant.
1. Transactional use
Nordax OS transactional messaging is designed for communications tied to a requested service or ongoing business relationship, such as appointment confirmations and reminders, schedule changes, en-route notices, quotes, proposals, agreements, invoices, payment notices, account security, support, and review requests. It is not the Nordax OS marketing-messaging module and must not be used for general promotions, discounts, lead blasts, or purchased lists.
2. Tenant responsibility
The tenant is the sender of tenant customer communications and is responsible for message content, recipient selection, consent, timing, frequency, identification, required disclosures, and compliance with applicable law and carrier or provider rules. Nordax Digital provides the platform and infrastructure but does not supply consent on the tenant’s behalf.
3. Consent and enrollment
A tenant must document an appropriate consent or other lawful basis before sending messages that require it. Consent language must identify the sender and expected message types and must not be bundled deceptively. Consent to receive automated promotional texts may not be made a condition of purchasing goods or services where prohibited. Recipients should keep their contact information current and only enroll numbers they control.
4. Frequency, charges, and delivery
Message frequency varies based on appointments, transactions, account activity, and enabled preferences. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers and device platforms are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and messaging must not be used as the only channel for emergencies or life-safety information.
5. STOP, HELP, and suppression
Recipients may reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or another recognized request to revoke consent for messages that require consent. A final confirmation may be sent where permitted. Reply HELP for assistance or contact the identified sender.
Tenants must honor revocation by any reasonable method and must not circumvent suppression by switching numbers, modules, accounts, or providers. Nordax OS may apply global and tenant-specific suppression, Do Not Contact, bounce, complaint, and consent controls.
6. Email communications
Transactional email must remain primarily transactional. Marketing email must use an approved marketing module, accurate sender information, a valid postal address where required, and a functioning unsubscribe mechanism. Suppression and complaint records must be honored across imported and synchronized contacts.
7. Monitoring and enforcement
Nordax Digital may use rate limits, spending caps, templates, quiet-hour controls, consent records, delivery monitoring, and manual review to protect recipients and the platform. We may block a campaign, message type, recipient, tenant, origination identity, or integration that creates legal, carrier, fraud, reputation, or billing risk.
8. Support
For a Nordax Digital message, contact support@nordaxos.com or call 770-742-9385. For a message sent by a tenant, contact the business identified in that message. Privacy questions may be sent to privacy@nordaxos.com.
